Afforestation

With the involvement of the local community we have been able to conduct 2 mini-forest plantations abutting protected areas in the BHL. We continue to conduct regular programs with the community to manure, de-week and maintain these plantations, to encourage a sense of ownership and responsibility within local people. Our afforestation initiatives are also extended to schools, colleges and corporate organizations. We have conducted seed dispersal and afforestation within the Bannerghatta National Park as well along with the forest department.
