A Rocha India is part of the A Rocha Worldwide Family,  a global network of conservation organizations.

We share common core commitments to work in nature conservation, we are committed to nurturing community, cultural-diversity and collaboration. Under the A Rocha Worldwide Family Covenant, we seek opportunities for joint working and together aim to increase our conservation impact, grow our geographical reach, engage youth and young people in our work, and strengthen our engagement with communities. 

A Rocha was  founded in 1983 and our first project was a Field Study Centre and Bird Observatory in Southern Portugal. We now have a presence on six continents, with organizations in 20 countries and counting, and a network of friends in many more.
